Download the free version of STAR-CCM+ from www.cd-adapco.com and run your Fluent .cas as well as .msh files in the software

We recently did this operation by saving the file as 'patran' in gambit and using Prostar's mesh import facility to import the patran file.

The process went very well. Prostar even created boundary shells with various cell table numbers so we could quickly create boundaries using bshell.

The only problem is if some of the imported cells conflict with the pre-defined prostar cell table entries (usually 2 is solid and 3 is baffle) so this might require a little troubleshooting but shouldn't be hard to resolve.
