GUI facilities in windows XP

Dear all:

I am wondering if the GUI facilities of Star-CD are available for Windows XP (I know it is available for Unix and win NT). As I start a CFD model, I can't set up the Prostar GUI environment in Windows XP. What's problem?

Many thanks.

Yes, the prostar GUI is available for XP/W2K. There is a bug between the xvision xserver and some graphics cards. You can always download a free xserver at

http://x.cygwin.com

Make sure you read the installation notes CAREFULLY, otherwise you won't install the xwindows part of cygwin, and that's the whole point of installing it.

We had to replace the graphics cards on some XP machines.
