Dear Star-CD Experts,
Please let me know how to plot a scalar stored in a particular register. For example, if I calculate a scalar quantity and stored it in Register 4, then how do I plot (contour or other) it? Regards, |

As far as I understand it, the registers that are plotted are fixed: 1-3 for vector data, and 4 for contour (scalar) data. So if your contour data is in register 4, just POPT CONT and REPLOT.

Many thanks Mr. Brian. In this forum I observed that in most of the cases, your brief comment/explanation is really valuable.

Hello All,
If your interested, here is something load *.pst file cset news fluid oper getc dens 1 oper getc volu 2 oper multi 1 2 4 The following commands put density in register 1 and volume in regester 2 and then cacluate the mass is each cell, which can be plotted since it is in regester 4. Also the command summ cset gives the face area and volume average for each register you have data in. Kind Regards, Kevin |
