Default v & mass residuals

Has anyone experienced opposing trends in v-mom and mass residuals after reducing the u-rf for v?

When I reduced this to a low value, the mass decreases quickly but the v-mom decreases very very slowly. At a higher u-rf, the opposite was observed. Why? And how can I make both residuals go down faster? (in 3.15)

(It's already thousands of iterations already....)
