how to verify that turbulence has been established -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

MP Guest Posts: n/a	I'm modeling a channel flow using LES. Does anyone advice me how to verify that turbulence has been established, i.e. statistical steady state has been obtained. What monitoring parameter should I establish to indicate that statistical steady state is reached?
