I am doing transient flow analysis in an ic engine using cfd.when i issue pmovlink command the following message comes

ENTER CASE NAME euro21 GEOMETRY FILE TITLE

*** ERROR *** FILE .evn HAS NOT BEEN PREPARED IN PROSTAR, PLEASE USE EVPREP BEFORE GEOM COMMANDS AND RERUN

even after issuing evprep command and writing geom file.why is it so please help me Thanku in advance varun

Is there a .evn file in your directory?

yes there is an .evn file in my directory

What happens in the output window of star when you type 'evfi conn'?

First of all thanku for the prompt help.when i type evfile conn it is connecting showing the number of events etc.

Close the .evn-file, or do a "quit,save" to terminate prostar (and automatly close the .evn-file)

Your case seems to be OK. This is really strange...

When you prepare your case, do you issue this command (evfi conn) before writing the case ('geom .geom' and 'prob .prob')? Do you get any error when writing the geometry file ('geom .geom')?
