TclScript

Hi, I'm having problems with StarCD 3.2 For example I'm trying to run 1st tutorial from es-aero: I try to import CAD geometry and imideatly get Error in TclScript which says "Error. error copying param.prp. Object is too big for operation" in fact anything I do it gives same error "object too big for operation" I try ProAmm same thing - objects change (it could be param.prp or writing batch file or anything!) Everything "is too big for operation" Damn! how small do they want it tobe!!! ;) Any way I would appriciate any help or suggestion.

Thanks Ted

Re: TclScript

Do you have write permission in the directory that you are working in? What about the files that are already there - can they be overwritten?

Re: TclScript

It's simply a directory that I made to do StarCD tutorials in. I copied aclass.cel, aclass.vrt and aclass.stab files (ez aero tutorial files) from starCD directory in that new directory... After unsuccesful uttempt to work through tutorial I now have echo and param and couple of other files in that dir.

BTW, I'm using XP.

Thank you Ted

Re: TclScript

Maybe try going to the star guide and open the section import CAD, choose the one that allows the option cel and vrt. Also I would try deleting the param.prp file and prosize again.

I think you may try to change your work directory to install disc. for example "C:\dirname\". The problem may be corrected under windowsXP by this way.

Thanks Wen, I'm away from office for till next monday but I will give it a try as soon as I'll get there. Indeed my workdir was NOT on install disc. I'll let you know if it helps.

Thank you Ted
