BC at the interface of the fluid and solid
hi,
which boundary condition suits at the interface of fluid and solid in the heat transfer analysis. pls help me. |
Re: BC at the interface of the fluid and solid
you have to define a wall- conduct BC

Re: BC at the interface of the fluid and solid
hi pete,
can u give some more clear. means, how much value we have to give for conductive resistance in the conductive (wall) BC. is it zero? thank you for ur reply. |
Re: BC at the interface of the fluid and solid
By default it will be zero, and that would be what you would choose if you had no other information. The conductive resistance is used to model resistive coatings (paint, for example) rather than being a necessary characteristic of all walls.
