Temperature profile in Solid cells

hello all,

My geometry consists of solid and fluid cells. The solid cells have two Boundary conditions. 1)The Boundary condition at the contact of fluid cells is Default Wall. 2)The other Boundary condition is Wall with constant Heat flux.

The problem is, I could not see any Temperature behavior within the solid cells while postprocessing but can see the behavior in fluid cells.

It would be really nice, if you could give me a suitable reply. Regards, Pramod.

The wall bc between solid and fluid must be Wall-conductive. How much solid cells do you have? Probably the gradient is very small and you only have to change the cscale?

hi pramod,

i am also getting the same problem, i already made a query on this. but i got no answer. someday told the same way as the pete told. but that is not sufficient for us to forward.

Hi Manohar,

The behaviour in Solid cells can be seen. In the Post-processing, when you select the Temperature in the Scalar quantities rather than Total temperature in Calculated scalar quantities and keeping the Cell type activated.I hope it works for you.

with regards, Pramod
