Default diffusion of liquids

Hallo everybody,

I got a problem concerning a multi-phase model. I got source terms for liquid water in my model, but I don't want the liquid to contribute to the fluids bulk properties, so I defined liquid water as a passive scalar. Now I want the liquid water to diffuse through a porous medium in the solution domain. Does Star solve for diffusion of liquids that are defined as passive scalars or do I have to set the liquid to be active in order to let Star solve for its distribution in porous media???

Any help would be appreciated!
