Hello Everybody In our Institute we have starCD 3.24 solver with 16 processors (single host with 16 processor). I want to set up moving mesh case(Internal combustion Engine) with parallel computation i.e Parallel computation of single Host with 16 processors. Can anyone please help me .

Thanks in advance

Have you tried just typing 'star 16'?

lol the problem they will have is with the decomposition of the mesh, if they decompose auto then metis will fling the ASI's far and wide and Star wont run. You will have to do a manual decomp by sets and makes sure that each attach boundary is on one processor.

Thanks a lot Ben,

I tried with manual decomposition. It worked fine, but at the time of starting the case it exited with the message:

please let me know what could be the prolem.
