Default problems replacing old boundaries

I have been using simple boundaries on some complex models and allowing them to converge. I then put the correct boundaries on and let the model converge but the results are the same as with the simple boundaries. I am writing a new problem file after applying these new boundaries. Anything else that should be done?

Jared, If I am not mistaken, after changing boundaries (not boundary conditions) you need to rewrite the geometry file. Tom

I have also tried that without any success.

Are you doing a normal restart? You have to do a "rdat init" instead.

select the right restart option, e.g.

- standard restart (possibly after a hardware crash),

- restart with new boundary values

- restart with the previous run only as an initial field.
