Hi All, CFD Simulation in Star- CD â€"Problem Definition. 1.Refrigerant (Freon 134) is flowing thro the evaporator coil in liquid state at Inlet. 2.Air is flowing from top to bottom cross flow to the refrigerant medium. 3.Refrigerant will take heat from air and phase change will occur from liquid to vapour in side the evaporator coil (Multiphase). I would to simulate phase change of refrigerent inside the evaporator from liquid to vapour state in Star-CD.Please, let me know the approach to simulate my above problem.
Thanks Dhandapani. |

Hi! Dhandapani
You can use the Beta function of VOF in STAR-CD. I think you can refer the UserGuide for more information. tomosada |

Hi I would like to solve in tube refrigerant condensation but I couldnt describe phase change in my model like you. Could you find a solution for phase change? if you can How can I solve my problem. Could you please help me?
thanks |
