The integrate command will probably not produce the correct answer, since a typical carbody dont have a specific point where the projected area equals the section-area. i.e. if you use the integrate command where the mirrors are you will miss the roof-line. In esaero there is an inbuilt function to get the projected area, but I suppose you dont have acces to esaero. However, what esaero basically does, is to project all the vertices of the car, in the x-direction (vproj command), onto a cset of shells (i.e. the inlet). Then get a subset of the cset consisting of the cells being "hit" by a vertice. Then you can get the area of the resulting cset. I dont know exactly how to get the subset automatically, but if you are only doing it once, you can probably cut out the subset manually (cset dele zone & cset subs zone).
