Hi, I am trying to save the post data for a cell set which is a small part of the whole cells. When I try to save it from the post registers by the operate function, the post data for all of the cells are written to the codded file, so far I have not been able to find a way to write the data for cell set only. Could someone who knows a way, help me? Thanks alot in advance

Hello Negin,

The best way to export post data of a cell set is to use the command SAVU. In the post register, load the data you want to export (cell centroid coordiantes, velocity mag, pressure, TKE...) and execute the foolowing command: to export values stored in the post register 1 to 4 in a text formatted file named data.usr SAVU,data.usr,BOTH,CODED,CSET

that's all

AJ
