hi experts

In star-cd i am first give 1000 iter. but sol is not converged. then i am goto 2000 iter. but it start from again 1 to 2000. then how to start iteration from last value ( from 1000 iteration). please reply me. because if enter more no of iteration means sol not converged after 3 HRS also. less no of iteration means sol not converged then i am again start from 1 onwards thanks in advance

hi,

ANALYSIS PREPARATION/RUNNING > ANALYSIS RESTART > RESTART FILE OPTIONS > STANDARD.

ANALYSIS PREPARATION/RUNNING > ANALYSIS RESTART and now hit '?'/'Help' in the navigator center.

u can change the first number in *.prob file which is default 1 to 2. 1 indicates start from scratch 2 indicate restart from existing .pst file. u need not star prostar again. just modify *.prob file. If u r running on parallel processor u need to copy *.prob in all the individual directories.
