Default surf wrap - baffle thickness

I wish the baffle thickness during surface wrap can remain zero when it is not activated. I've tried using the default value of 2, 10, 0 and even deactivated it. Turned out the wrapped surface always came out to have same thickness of 2mm! Is this my only isolated case or have others experienced the same? If so, is there going to be a remedy in the near future?
