Hi. I'm trying to model a water flow in a open channel, and I have some difficulties to find an appropriated type for the outflow boundary.

The problem is that the channel is empty at initial state. Is it still possible to use a prescribed pressure boundary as stated there: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forum/star....cgi/read/7474 ?

Does someone know how the "outlet" type works? Is it suitable for a free surface flow?

Thanks, Reiv

Hope you understan my english.
