I would like to do some windshield de-icing calculations with star-cd. Does anybody know, if it is possible using star-cd and what setup I should use? Would be nice, if anybody has some hints!

Yes, it is possible. There are several publications - ask CD-adapco for more informations.

You need some user-coding to do this. You can develop by your own or purchase ES_tool from adapco (do not know the correct name of the ES-Tool). It comes with required user-subroutines for de-icing, defogging, etc.
