star cd cannot run
 

Hello I installed star cd 3.26 but i cannot run pro star

I installed hummingbird 7.0 and ran exceed

Though i had open the exceed window , The pro-star is not accessing it. If i open the prostar it simply gives a message

D:\Program Files\CD-adapco\STAR-CD\bin\prostar.exe xm

Is any link or configuration is need?

You cannot download the windows version from the web site and install it directly. You need to do 1 install once from the CDrom directly from CD-adapco. That contains the nutcracker link between prostar and an X server. You can update from the web site but not install from scratch.

What is this - the 47th time its been explained to people?
