Cooling of Engines
 
Hi,

I am looking for cooling of IC Engines (water jacket) materials.

If any of you have any material regarding this topic please share it.

there is a good water jacket simulation you can ask to cd-adapco marketing from www.cd-adapco.com. It shows the benefit of polymeshes

It usually takes a lot of time to have a working methodology for these applications. So don't expect that the experts are willing to share their knowledge and do your homework.

Hi,

yes, i too agree that this is a very complecated problem & takes lot of work input.

i am looking for any Journals from SAE/ASME where i can find some information on using CFD to this type of Problems.

If have any links, please let me know it.

Those articles are quite old. Nowadays this is done in star-ccm+ for conjugate heat transfer easy meshing. You can upgrade from star-cd to star-ccm+ to be up to date.
