Modeling of biomass gasification
 

Hi everyone, As a new StarCD user, i need your opinion, is it possible to simulate the heat flow within the gasifier during biomass combustion using this software? If it does, how long it will take to complete simulation for 1 gasifier model? Anybody who had experience on similar project, could you help me?? Please give your generous advice!

Sir or Madam,

Yes it is possible. The simulation will take between a few hours and a few days depending on the size of the chamber and what software and hardware you will be using. To learn Star-CD to the point of being able to do the calculation, though, will take some months. FlowTack, LLC could do this calculation for you. Check us out at www.flowtack.com.
