Default copying cells

I am doing a project on the drafting effects on the so called 'ahmed body' (simple car shape) and need some help.

i have generated a mesh with one car shape, but would like to know how to manipulate it so that i can copy just the car and paste it a fixed distance behind it, i.e. place another can behind the front car.

does anybody know how to do this function easily please?

Use VGEN to copy a range of vertices (with a geometric offset in the direction you want) and CGEN to copy a range of cells to the new vertices.
