In my mesh I have some very small features I am interested in. For example, one part is a fuel nozzle recessed into a vane. Part of the fuel nozzle is in to flow and the other part is mostly out of the flow. This leads to part of the nozzle having high wall y+ values and the other part having low y+ values.

Is there some way to vary the prism layer thickness over the nozzle the complete nozzle has good y+ values?

I think you should split the boundary in two or more seperate boundaries. You can then individually specify prism thickness and amount of layers.
