Hi,

I have to simulate a burner in a furnace, it is preferable to use Star-CD v.4 or Star-CCM+? I saw that Star-CCM+ look like a lot more user friendly but is it contained combustion model and radiation model?

Thank you in advance.

I think both codes have ppdf but personally I would go for STAR-CCM+

FYI: STAR-CCM+ also has radiation (both surface-to-surface and Discrete Ordinate Methods).
