Problem with Convergence at high flow rates

Hi

I am simulating flow through a catalytic converter. ITs a 2-D axisymmetric model. I am having convergence problems when using V2F turbulence model. The problem is the solution converges for low flow rates but doesnt converge at high flow rates say 20 m/s. I have tried using MARS, UD and differencing schems.

Can anyone pls help why its not converging at high flow rates.

Thank You Regards Saleem

Are you running a transient or steady state analysis?

How are you defining convergence? Does it diverge? Or does it just not reach a steady value?

Have you tried a simpler turbulence model - say standard k-e?
