Default The behavior of droplets at the symmetry boundary

Hello, experts!

I'm considering a droplet (axial direction) injection problem in the position of middle of pipe line. By the way, the number of mesh (about 2,000,000 cell) for the problem is too big to dealing. So I'd like to use the the symmetry boundary on the middle of the model. But I'm not familiar with droplet spray problem.

Can I take the symmetry plane boundary on the middle of the model for this droplet injection problem? What happen if droplets are impinged at the symmetry plane boundary?

Thanks in advance.

SJLee
