Hi there,

Can anybody tell me how to calculate the particle concentration at the exit plane? I used to output the particle track file and pick those particles located on (near) the exit plane, then calculate particle concentration. This takes a long time! I just wonder if you guys have any simple way for the calculation?

Thanks,

Ken

you should run a little F program which opens the .trk track file, finds those particles near the exit point, then write just this particle's record details (eg size, x,y,z,u,v,w) to a text file. This program will run in a few seconds and the output file is very small. Then load into Excel say and post-process or whatever.
