Can I do geometric modeling using STAR-CCM+?

I'm doing an external flow modeling. I can import surface CAD data of a vehicle. To define the outer boundary, I need to add boundaries. Does STAR-CCM+ provide a way to add geometric entities after CAD import? Or do I need to use CAD or ProSurf to define the entire region of the external flow?

Thanks

CCM+ has not the function on CAD. It's preCAD tool is STAR-DESIGN. In STAR-DESIGN, you can solve your problem easily.

At the same time, CCM+ can import .dba format file. So u can use others CAD tool of star-cd, such as Pro-STAR to generate the far boundary.
