I am trying to import pressure and grid data from STAR-CD to LMS sysnoise. The new version of Sysnoise (Virtual Lab) uses CGNS data only. The data should be at the nodes and the software does not accept pressure data in the center of element. Do you know if the new version of STAR-CD (CMM+)export cgns data in the format required by LMS Virtual Lab (Sysnoise)?

Many Thanks

Reza

The couping between STAR-CD and Sysnoise comes as an additional plugin, for which you need to contact CD-adapco. The pressure data that Sysnoise reads is a pressure, time history on a surface, which CGNS won't support. The plugin also maps the data from cell centers onto nodes (ie from the CFD mesh to the acoustic mesh).

You should be able to export your mesh as CGNS.
