error in star ccm
 

hello

i just reinstall the star ccm 2.06 on my workstation and i get a problem with the java virtual machine , it is writing the follows :

unable to star star ccm , could not locate the java vm this 64 bit releese of star ccm requrires the 64 bit version of java se development kit edition (jdk)

the problem is that i can not find it!!!! there is no 64 java jdk in the net or in the sun site.

also there is not in the star ccm cd

anyone knows where to find that???

Do you installed starcd before.If u did there must be jdk. u dont want to install once more.

No, I've had this issue too and had to reinstall. No problem if JDK comes after ccm+. See java.sun.com for 64-bit java jdk for 64-bit windows x64 and for linux as well, which is even easier to do. But I'm wondering since you have the license, why not upgrade to 2.08 or higher? Also, anyone know if 2.10 is out yet?

i install the software after format... so there is no jdk on it.

well i search again in sun.com but i was not lucky.....

anyway i will contact cd adapco...
