Auto-ignition model ECFM3Z
 

Hi everybody,
I want to know if in the ECFM3Z model the autoignition is calculated by means of:
1 - 3D Modeling of self-ignition in HCCI and conv. Diesel engine by Pires da Cruz
or
2- Detailed chemistry based autoignition model including low temp. phenomena... by Colin, Pires da Cruz, Jay
or else???

Andrea,

I am using STAR-CD 3.26 but there is no ECFM3Z model in my code. Does this model come with a separate module? In CD-adapco brochures it says this model was implemented in STAR-CD 3.26. How to activate it?

Please advise.

It cost's extra. If you did not purchase the module, you will not see it.

I don't know exactly how much it costs but I think the name of the module is simply ECFM3Z module or IC setup module...
