Hi, STAR-CD experts!
I am in trouble with the 'restart option'. I am trying to restart my calculation from the file 'star.pst'. The initial conditions are seemed to be well imposed after loading 'star.pst' file. But the problem is, Although I select the 'continue' option, the ITERation number (ITER) is set to be 1 at the first step. I want to start from the last ITER. What I gave to STAR-PRO as follows, > rdata, initial,b,star.pst, continue Please give me any comments or suggestions what I am missing. Thanks, KK |

Dear Balduin,
Thank you for the quick reply. I want to proceed the simulation with new boundary values from the previous field data as the initial condition. That's why I am not using 'rdat resta'. Moreover, in my scalfn.f, I use some statement including 'ITER' and I do not want to initialize the ITER to be 1 at the fisrt step of the restart calculation. Thanks, KK |
