I am trying to simulate open channel flow with slope in X direction. Do I have to turn on gravity in X direction? Does that matter? I did with and without gravity, I got same results. Thank you.

Did the results make sense?
I just did a VOF problem with gravity (acceleration) forces. I had to specify gravity & activate bouyancy. Without bouyancy, the results were not accounting for the "gravity" forces. With bouyancy the results matched hand calcs. |
