hy, when using a variable time step with the maximum courant number, after the first iteration the time step decreases as to obtain the maximum courant number imposed, but for the rest of the iterations the time step doesn't increase as to maintain this value?? thanks! regards, lelia

hi,
when i am giving CFD run, The max. courant number is 999.99 for the first time step itself, I don't no how it should behave, kindly tell me that it should be high always or it should vary with time step and how much it should be with first time step. If it should vary, how it should vary Thanking you With best Regards ---lingaiah |
