A few question PLZ HELP

I am using STAR DESIGN and STAR CCM+ for studying heat transfer in a channel. I have a few question. IF you help me in those: 1: Is it always enough to mesh model in Star Design and Post process in CCM+ or meshing has to be refined in CCM+.? 2: Is it possible to apply y+ value in star design? HOW? 3: How to get periodic conditions in star design.?
