shell and boundary region
 
why is it in v406 we are not allowed to set the boundary regions based on shells?????

what about the bshell command? sometimes the following is required:

assume cell type 10 to be the shell and you want to create region 1 (10 - 9)


cset news type 10
vset news cset
cset add vset face
cset subs flui
cshell 10 cset
cset news type 10
bshell -9 cset

you can put boundary shell only on shell type cells in 406

It works in all versions. In v3 just a little bit different.

thanks balduin, your commands work. but i dont understand what Andrea or you meant by it works in all versions. I could simply click on the shell by vertex adges or zone in v326 but not that simple in v4.
