Hi Everybody,
I'm working on a documentation of the ECFM-3Z model. Unfortunatelly I can't find any good information about it (besides of what is written in the manuals). I'm also looking for more information about knock modelling.
Can anybody give me some advice?
Thanks!
Chris

Please be more specific what kind of information are you looking for. ECFM3Z uses two spark ignition models (Default and AKTIM). It laso uses default autoignition and double-delay autoignition models to simulate diesel combustion. You can also simulate knock with ECFM3Z model.

The standard Knock model coupled with ECFM-3Z in ES-ICE was developed by Lafossas et. al. (2002). The paper title is: "Development and Validation of a Knock Model in Spark Ignition Engines Using a CFD code"
