Hi this is my first post on this forum and I am hoping for a little help with my thesis project that I am currently trying to complete. The proplem I am having is trying to create a porus media to represent a thin pate with multiple 1 mm holes in it. I dont know where the equations are to calculate the alpha and beta parts for the porus plate? I also have a catalyst to acccount for but I understand the equations I need to use in this case. I am also curious if anyone has any experience of how to assign the porous media to a subdomain in star design or if this is required?
