Hi all,
I have created a hexahedral mesh in ICEM CFD and for the most part, the mesh looks good. However, the elements at the top of the cylinder in my geometry are showing a very low quality (It's just about 700 out of 570,000). I've attached a picture of the problem area and elements. I'm thinking perhaps where the edges are associated to the curves is causing a problem, but I can't figure it out. I feel like this is a rather simple and quick fix, but can't seem to correct the issue. Anyone have any ideas? I've attached the geometry and blocking file as well. I'd appreciate any feedback on this, as when I import this into fluent, I am getting a non-positive face area error as a result of these elements |
