In earlier version of ansys-fluent like 15 and below we have to install visual studio and go to cross tool give the path etc and add it as compiler. But its not happening in ansys 18.2 Kindly help me out with this? which version of visual studio should i use?

When you start fluent, Click on "Show More Options", Click on "Environment", in this tab there's a path to a "udf.bat" file. If you go to this path and open udf.bat with notepad you can see different versions of the Microsoft Visual Studio supported by your current ANSYS version. You may also need to manually add some "Environment Variables" to your system.

but anyways i am using VS-2008 for my Ansys 18.1 It runs fine .....................

but does it have need intel parallel studio?

if yes, please say which version I should install?

for Ansys fluent 18.2 u must install visual studio 2015.
