ok, this one has me baffled.... how on earth do you log in using the CFD online Android app?
I click log in from the main menu and i enter my username and password and then what? , there is nothing to click log in.... there is nothing to commit this information....

On the login-screen there is a field for username, a field for password and a login button. Once the username and password has been entered the login button becomes active.

I enter the username and password but the log in button does not become active for me.
I presume the Log in button is in the top blue bar next to the back arrow?

the back arrow, register and the 3 dots all work fine at the top in the blue bar, i.e. they all respond to a tap, but no joy with the log in....

it logged in now, but it had nothing to do with a log in button

its seemed to just think about it for a minute or two and then automatically log in.... (having the correct fields inputted)

Strange, for me when I have entered something in both the username field and the password field the gray-blue bar below the password field turns clear-blue and can be pushed to login. I've tried this both on a Google Nexus and on a Sony Xperia running different Android versions.

Are you running the latest version of the android app, that is version 7.1.22 (look at the bottom of the "Settings" screen)?

Which version of Android and what device are you using?

Has anyone else had these problems?

their was only one bar at the bottom which was grey and it just said CFD online, i did try clicking this but just thought it was a logo. It did not seem to do anything.

I'm running an ancient Samsung Note 8 tablet, Android 4.4.2

I'm using 7.1.22 app version i.e. fresh download yesterday.

Just below the password field there should be a grey-blue bar which says "Log in" (or similar in your language). This grey-blue bar should turn clear-blue and become clickable when have entered both a username and a password. There is also at grey footer-bar at the bottom of the screen with the text "www.cfd-online.com", this one can not be clicked.

I'm glad that you managed to login even though you could not see the login bar. Perhaps it is there but it is not visible and you happened to push it by accident? Your login should be remembered by the app so the next time you will hopefully be logged in automatically.

I have never tried that version of Android.

there was nothing below the password field. It is very likely that I managed to click without realising, as I clicked and swipped all over the place in one last ditch attempt!

thanks

Dear Nickul and jola

I had the same problem and just managed to login by randomly tapping around the screen.

i am also using a relatively old tablet samsung tab pro 8.4 with android 4.4.2. so probably this has to do with the issue.!

If anyone faces the same, just try tapping a bit below the password field

I am not able to send messages to anyone.
It says: 'The text that you have entered is too long (264589 characters). Please shorten it to 5000 characters long.'
Please help me out here. I am stuck
