CFD Online Down for Maintenance
As you might have noticed CFD Online has been down for a few hours. The reason is that a hacker has attacked several servers at our ISP and his entire network has been taken down by IRC flood bots set up by the hacker.
We are currently working hard on restoring the CFD Online server. We will restore the site service by service. Expect CFD Online to go on and off for a while we work on getting everything up to speed again. It has been a long night and we need to sleep soon also. We apologize for the inconvenience. |
Hi Peter,
Many thanks for your hard work! The one thing that left me a bit more worried that something worse could have happened (either to you or someone on the team), was the fact that cfd-online's twitter page had no news about this issue! But then again, twitting about it wouldn't have solved much eitherway... Once again, many thanks for your hard work! Best regards, Bruno |
Twitter was forgotten in the mess we found ourselves in when we woke up. I just wrote a twitter message. CFD Online will go off-line again soon when we perform necessary updates. We will keep everyone posted on Twitter.
Right now the CFD Online server is running with a throttled network speed. Things might be slow due to this. We hope to remove the throttling within a few days I hope. |
