Solar Flux Star CCM+

Hi guys, I have data for direct Solar Flux for a period of time, and im trying to simulate the "changing of solar flux as a function of time" Instead of constant solar flux of 1000w/m2... Hope you can help me our?

an example of a function could be:
SolarLoad(t)= Ce^a*t

Where C and a are constant.

Or maybe sett up a table?

Many thanks

Can't you do it with a field function? That would be something like

pow(C,a)*$Time
and C and a even could be variable.

I don't have ccm+ open right now, so I can't have a look. But when you can switch the input method to field function, you've won for sure. Otherwise you might try to enter the field function in the field for the constant value (reference it with the $ sign). The latter method is not guaranteed to work, but it's worth a try.

Ive actually managed to do it with a field function and it worked.

Many thanks for your reply
