Hi
I want to import a CAD file from AutoCAD inventor into CCM+ but it seems that different formats (x_t, .asm, .CATProduct, .iges, .stp) give different tesselation levels and therefore the merge/imprint process can get messy.
Is there a way of importing a true CAD without any tessalation and let CCM do the rest?
Regards
cmbv

All CAD formats will get tessellated, either when you import them or when you create a part from an imported 3D CAD model.

Maybe it's because Inventor does not write out a clean CAT product or so?
