can any will do me favor to tell how to give non uniform velocity profile at the velocity inlet in star ccm+for ex. (u/Uinf)=(y/delta)^(1/n) where n can be any integer and delta be the boundary layer thickness. Uinf -free stream speed

Dear liladhar,
If you go to the tutorial you will see how to make a field function. Just it is enough to define parameters such as y, etc. correctly. search this phrase to see how is is the filed function for a velocity profile made: Create Field Function for Grid Velocity |

Go to the user guide and look for "field function programming reference".
