Hi,

I have started a university project looking to design and model a supersonic wing for future supersonic civil aircraft.

I am new to CFD modelling and was just wondering if anybody had tips on what functions to use in Star CCM+ V7 when modelling 2D supersonic flow over aerofoils? I have been through the tutorials but they only stretch to transonic flow.

If you had any tips with mesh generation also I would greatly appreciate it!

I have only been able to apply a fine mesh around the aerofoil using a volumetric region around it, but wondered if anybody could give me some tips how to use the mesh growth function to improve the mesh quality close to the aerofoil wall?
