I am modeling the flow in a low pressure turbine blade. in order to calculated the Reynolds number I am using the mass flow averaged pressure at 0.5 axial chord downstream of the blade.

Is there a way I can put a line probe into starccm+ and then asked for the mass flow averaged pressure from this probe?

I have considered a field function for this but dont really know how to do it with a field function

Thanks for your help

I have looked at the mass flow averaged report but I cant seem to get that to work.

I have put a line probe in where I want to calculate the mass flow averaged velocity and selected velocity from the scalar list but it just says it is zero constantly but it clearly is not

thanks

There is no mass flow through a line. Hence you can't get a mass flow averaged pressure through a line probe.
Choose a 2-dimensional input part (boundary, plane section... ) for your report.
