Title says it all.
I tried to install it on a Windows 8 machine but it won't install. Can Star CCM+ be installed on Windows 8 OS? Thanks! |

I am currently using Star-CCM+ 8.02, and have also used 7.06, on Windows 8 Pro, and had no problems installing it. I do not believe plain Windows 8 should be any less capable of running it. Ranjan can you please describe what is not working, is it stopping during installation, or doesn't the installer GUI open at all?
I assume the installer in question is the STAR-CCM+_CadClients%versioninfo%.exe and that your Windows user have administrator rights ? |
