Difference between Total Heat Source and Volumetric Heat Generation?

Are these two options basically the same thing? Is there any difference? Currently I have an inductor modeled in STAR. I have the windings modeled as cylinders and the regions have a volumetric heat generation, but I'm wondering if total heat source would be a better alternative unless there is no difference between the two.

It depends on that what you want to study. Radiation effect or Convection?
